I have been reading a lot about Marek's and the vaccinating of adult birds along with day olds. I am awaiting, still...it's been 2 weeks...for the results of necropsy to confirm the presence of Marek's in my flock. Until then, I have decided to vaccinate everyone just in case. However, the directions clearly state not to vaccinate chickens who have been exposed. What do you all think???? I want to do what's best and give all of them a fighting chance but I'm concerned about the precautions listed with the vaccine. Also, some of my chickens were vaccinated as day olds...what's the thought about booster shots? Any help/comments/experience would be appreciated. I would like to get this done tonight before another 3 day rain cycle begins...
