Marek's vaccine

Can the marek's vaccine be given to adult birds? Or is it only for day old chicks?
Just wondering...

Yes, it can be given, but it is unlikely to be useful. It needs to be given well prior to exposure. How old and why?

My flock ranges from 1 1/2 year old, 7 mos, 4 mos and 2 mos.
my 7 month olds were vaccinated, but not the others. I did lose a hen in Sept., my vet was quite sure it was mareks.
As for why, just was thinking that maybe I should. No one else is sick or anything like that, just wondering if I was neglectful in not doing so when they were hatched out.
