Is marek's disease a reportable disease anywhere? Anyone know?

Not that I'm aware of, but you can check with your local ag dept to find out if it is in your state. I would not report unless it is confirmed by necropsy. In that case, if it is required, your state vet would report for you.

Well, that's the first thing i thought of but can't get anyone to either a) answer the phone or b) who knows.

Thanks and if anyone else knows I would be interested. I discovered it is reportable in Indiana.

According to Storey's Guide To Raising Chickens, it's not reportable. The book is a bit old but at least it's a start

Thank you. I finally got hold of someone at OSU and they confirmed it was not. It is in Indiana, though.
