I have 1 WH right now, but I used to have three until a few weeks ago. They got sick and didn’t make it, so now we’re raising more ducklings so she isn’t alone

I wonder if call duck owners can weigh in on how long their ducks typically live? I recently joined a call duck group on Facebook and saw people talking about their ducks living 20, 25, & 27 years. Yikes, that's a huge commitment! I had no idea...

I guess it must depend on their care and feed as I have had people tell me theirs only lived about 5-7 years. There was a Mallard duck that lived 27 years and it was said to be the longest life of any Mallard duck. My Rouen Ducks are 7 now and slowing down quite a bit. They still seem fine though otherwise.
