Marigolds for yolk color

I read that giving Marigold blossoms to layers will make a more orange colored yolk, anyone experience this?

Marigolds are Tagetes. That's why Layena puts tagetes extract in their food. It makes dark golden yellow/orange yolks.
 
I'm sure greens help but I have a Leghorn who gets the same food as the other girls and she consistantly lays the typical pale yolks that you get from the grocery store. The others lay orangey yolks. Her eggs also have some other genetic inconsistansies but thats another topic entirely.
