mark as read....oh nifty!

First of all....THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for getting the "mark forum as read" going. It really helps me a lot.

I have one further request on the subject...once you click a forum as read, it brings you back to that forum. Is there any way to make it go directly back to the index?

After all...if I've already read that forum...I want to go to another one!

Regarding your request: Are you saying after you post you want to go back to the index?

Actually that would be great too!

But my actual request was that when I click on the "mark forum as read" I'd like to be sent back to the index.

whe you're in a forum...look up top at the right....

The little chickies on the left indicate that something has not been read by you...once you've read it ...the next time the chickie is gone and the title of thread is not bold!

That's true...but I don't read every post in the forum...but like to know when I done with the forum. clicking on mark forum read...will take the little ducks away from every message in the forum..not just the one's you read.

So now...when you come back later...you'll only have the little chickies where there are "new messages"!

I personally love the dot next to the topics you've posted to....that way, I know it's something I've already posted on.
