I have been busy the last couple of days and went to catch up on the recent posts. I noticed that all posts before I checked for an update on Alleyoop25 DH this morning had been marked as read even though I hadn't read them or used the "marked as read" link. Any ideas why?

It says
Show new posts since last visit

so if you leave the site and come back it is considering this a new visit example you check in at 8 am before work, then log back in at noon, even though you didnt get to read everything at 8 am, that is the last time you VISITED

Yes, I checked in at 4:20 a.m before I went out for chores and milking and later when I came back in and went to check the recent posts Everything before 4:20 a.m was marked as read. Even though I had only checked Alleyoops25 post for an update and did not click the "Mark everything as read" button.

Most sites are that way, when I log in at bank, it will show last log in, doent KNOW what was done, just lists a time, so if you log off then back on it will list last visit as 2 minutes ago.

I'm not worried about what it shows as my last login time! It doesn't matter. What I'm questioning is why it marked all the posts as read when I did not read them or use the "marked as read" button. It does not normally do this!

Me neither. I guess the site just had a bad hair day. By the way, 4:30 a.m. is too early to be up...I know cuz I've been up with a sick kid since then. AAAARGH

Hope he/she gets better.

My alarm goes off at 3:50 a.m. and I try to get up at 4:00 a.m. We have cows to milk and the chores to do. I start at night at 4:00 p.m. so we have the evenings when my DH comes home open for whatever so, that means 4:00 a.m. start.
