I have 9 Buff Orps.....not all exactly alike ....there are suttle differences between birds, you take the time to observe them closely...... BUT!


I'd like a way to quickly differentiate between them.

Leg bands (I simply use colored zip ties) - this allows you to quickly tell them apart and once you can tell them apart you start to notice the little differences (both in appearance and personality) that will make looking at the band no longer necessary to tell them apart.

Different colored leg bands.The dollar store here sells small zip ties in a variety of colors that work great for this. If you have more girls than colors just switch legs or band both legs.
