Is there a way to mark posts so that they can be easily found later? There's lots of great posts out there, but finding that post later becomes really difficult.

If not,
A few suggestions.
How about setting up a folder system in our profiles? A little folder link by the thumbs up icon would be nice. Just click on the folder and a little menu of the folders we made drops down. Click on the desired foler and wallah, It's stored for later access.

Now that I think about it, it would be like the (Add to Favorites) in windows, except individual posts could be marked. Being able to give each post a title, or tag, etc would also be helpful.

Just a suggestion,
Thanks,
colburg

I am subscribed to several threads. The Heritage Large Fowl Thread is 11,000'ish posts. Searching for anything in there returns tons of results. Even if I mark down the post #, it takes many many clicks to get back to the right page. The Fermenting Feed for meaties is over 5,000 posts, same thing when searching. Old and Rare Breeds thread is over 2,000.

I just want to be able to mark and find valuable posts.

I right click on the post number, then click "bookmark this link."

Granted, this puts the post in my browser's bookmarks, not in a system on BYC -- and I don't know that it works anywhere but FF.

I didn't know you could click on the post #. I guess that'll work. Not as convenient as a BYC system probably would be, but it'll have to work for now.
