Marsbar hens

Hi all, I’m crossing my Cream Legbar rooster to my Copper Black Marans hens.
Does anyone have photos of what the offspring will look like doing the cross this way?
Females and males if poss. I know the chicks won’t be sexlinked.
Thank you in advance!
I have a friend doing the same thing but the first chicks won’t be hatched until spring.

I’ve read the female offspring have a 50:50 chance of laying Olive or brown.
My offspring look black with some white bits on chests? Some have crests, some don’t, some have feathered legs and some don’t. Some have a bit of copper here and there and some don’t!! None look barred though.
This is Ethel. She’s a Wheaten MarsBar. CCL rooster over 50/50 hen. Crested head and feathered feet. She’s one of my favorites. Peachy colored brown egg.

Were they sex-linked at hatch???

Thanks for that critical clarification. I plan to do exactly that, next spring (2025) when my new BCM cockerel is grown and I hopefully have a broody to sit on them!

Do you know anything about backcrossing these chicks for egg &/or feather colors?
You're Welcome.

I know about back crossing for traits yes.
