I love his music. His arrangements and composition in The Sting were so evocative. Sad to see him go.

"The Entertainer" and other songs made popular by the movie "The Sting" were written by Scott Joplin, they were adapted by Marvin Hamlisch for the movie.

Which in no way diminishes the man's talent. "Nobody Does It Better," "Through the Eyes of Love;" the list goes on and on. What a loss.
