Maryland State Poultry Fanciers Association Fall Show

I made it out of there with no birds at all. Sold what I had to great home with a young man that will love them to pieces.
Did hit the rd to va ( way to long of a ride )
For hubby's new Blrw bloodline. He better never complain to me about any drive to get what I want. 8 hour round trip

Men!
Tammy I see you got another Cochin?
Must have been a looker for you to get him.
Nice to see everyone again.

That's good! Happy for you.
I tell ya if I knew I was going to be sent to no mans land I would have come home with a pair of ducks just for payment. I hurt so bad from this ride I could buy another breed for pay back.

You'll have to help me remind him of this 8 hour trip for his birds.
Just to think the 1 1/2 ride for 3 pairs of calls and a duck and all the grief I got then.

He has joined our side now so he can't hang out with your hubby anymore and talk about us.

I'm starting with the A's since this is really my first generation, so I've gotta come up with some good A names. I'm taking suggestions!!!

My husband told me that I better get hatching

I couldn't believe those words came out of his mouth!! Of course I told him he can't complain when they hatch!

On the same row (side) as the show building was Glenn See and a guy from Sharpsburg. Erin, aka Msbear, knows his name. These two gentleman had larger setups with lg fowl and bantams. Hope this helps.

Yes thank you, that does help! One set-up had cages single layer on the ground (mostly with pairs I think) and the person I bought my bantams from had cages stacked double high in a "U" shape. There was also a woman with him, but he seemed to be doing most of the selling. Process of elimination...do you remember what Glen See's set up was like? Thanks again! I will see if Erin knows who the other person was. :)

Just got back home today. The show was awesome, much better than the one in Harrington, DE (Delmarva). From now on I am attending this show instead.

Much more fun, more people, more stuff to see, buy & sell. We had a lot of fun. Nice meeting some BYC'ers too. I did OK with my birds, but there was no competition in the varieties I brought.

I had the only MFC's and Splash Cochins. Only a few others had Butterscotch Calls. So the 1st place, RV & BV don't mean that much in my case. Oh well, I did get some awesome pics of my birds and of some of the big winners. First off, here are my birds:
