Towman, I am not sure. I don't believe it's limited to any specific club as the show is open to anyone but, let me see who's going to be involved. Thanks

I think the lack of pigeon breeders/flyers in the area has caused the decline in the sport. Unlike poultry, pigeons are looked down on my the general public as" dirty flying rats". I think it is great that the Maryland club is having a Pigeon show. My son's Blue Barred Hen Racing Homer went Super Grand Champ at the Sussex Show. I had a chuckle when someone asked if it was a real homer & what her lines were. I knew she was (Hubby used to race homers) but had to ask the details because I don't know those birds as well as he.

I'm talking to members of the old Baltimore area pigeon fanciers club. Mainly Steve Brocket, George Francis ( the old president) and some others. We want to do a show Dec. 10 at the Hamilton Homing pigeon club.
