Maryland State Poultry Fanciers Association Fall Show

I emailed it out to the MSPFA website members and to my mailing list. I have no idea what other sources of getting the word out the club does.. but, it is posted on the website now.. along with the flyer for the table top show

I'm pretty worried about Hurricane Sandy~ and its effect on us trying to prepare for the show. I don't know how I'm going to bathe all my birds during a monster storm. :/ And what if we get prolonged flooding and can't get to the show?

Exactly- I am watching the weather wondering if the show will go forward. Hope so.

It's already on the calendar (in sharpie!!).  Same as the Sharpsburg swap in Oct.  /img/smilies/ya.gif

/img/smilies/thumbsup.gif  We are having a Show Clinic at the Sharpsburg swap and anyone is encouraged to participate.  It should be a lot of fun and more open and discussion orientated than your typical show. ..For anyone new to showing, it's a great way to get started.   And, we will of course be cross promoting for the MSPFA event the first weekend in Nov.  /img/smilies/yippiechickie.gif  I am excited about being given the reins to help with their sales area.  We are expecting larger numbers at both events... looks like poultry keeping is on the up and up.

If you do show up, make sure you have current health papers on sale birds. The state reps do come to this show, and will check for your paperwork.

Do I have to have a paper for each chick/juvenile? My birds are NPIP and in the 90 day AI program, last test was less than a month ago. Have been in the program for 9 years. ?

I don't even know how I'm gonna get my birds bathed & ready in time. They are very messy/poopy from being in small cages in my bathroom due to the Hurricane. ?
