Mash porrage

The mash around here is almost like bread flour. It's very finely ground. My birds don't eat it much so until I run out and can get some crumble I was looking for a way to make it palatable for them. When I was making oatmeal this morning (they love oatmeal) it dawned on me to mix in warm water with the mash. Sure enough, they pounced on it. I have never seen them stand around a bowl and eat like that. It was great.

This is probably nothing new though.
