Massive gap in eggs? HELP

Hi
Two of my duck eggs have massive gaps in them at the bottom of the egg. They have 5 days until due date. What does this mean? I panicking are they dead!? There's a big black bit in the egg as well where the chick is

I think so I think it may be saddled and yer we are aha

It does creep up one side nearer the hatch as that's where they will pip. God it's exhausting isn't it?! Xxx

I think that's what's happening (I hope). I know one minute everything's going fine then BAM something goes wrong! Life ay? :/

Ha me neither ! I just can't wait till due day to see if any actually hatch! The wait is killing me!
