Morning,

I’m changing over to water nipples for my chickens and want to have the capacity of water at 2 gallons. I need to know what length of 4” PVC pipe is required to get the 2 gallons of water?? I found the formula on the internet but am having a problem getting the numbers to come out to what I think would be correct.

Thanks in advance, Tony

4" PVC pipe 37" long will hold 2.01 Gallons.

Thanks Chris,

I'm not going to ask how you did it cause I had a formula and couldn't get it right.

Thanks again, Tony
