So you have 3 males and 1 females? That really isn't going to work out well for your female at all, especially since they are already starting to "mate". At this age I would assume it just practice and will be for a while but it will become a problem very quickly once the other males start too. You have a few options. You can keep all your males and rehome your female, add at least 7-10 more females or separate you males and females and add a females so she has a buddy. The males can all be kept together as long as there is no females to fight over. Just keep an eye on her and you may be good through winter.

Maybe Miss Lydia can help you with figuring out what sexes your ducks are. Try posting individual pics of each one, showing them clearly. She has Muscovies and I bet she can help.

They won't stay still long enough lol and when they do they lay down... there only a week old tho

I have 3 drakes and 6 girls. One of the girls acts like a drake, but the other day I busted her swooning for the chicken - begging her to mate. Weird! She never does that for a duck. My favourite drake is not very sexual at all, but the 2 little calls are constantly going at it, its their first season. They absolutely love the pure pekin, Syanne. I dont know what it is about her that they prefer her to everyone else, but she cops it quite badly so I have to take extra care of her.

This afternoon, the drakes were off free ranging and Syanne came out of hiding. I thought oh Good, she can have some time without being chased down. What did she do but go over to the part pekin Varia and lay down for her...And Varia mounted her and went through the motions. My 3 big girls have always done this, but I really thought with all the drakes around they would be over their girl on girl action!
