Hi, I have a mauve roo and hens in these colors: mauve, splash, chocolate cuckoo, chocolate. Hoping to get a couple more, including a black one. If I keep the roo and let them do their thing, what color baby chicks would they produce?

Mauve x Mauve: 25% Chocolate offspring, 50% Mauve offspring, 25% Mauve Splash offspring (not sure what this color is actually called; genetically, they are choc/choc Bl/Bl for males and choc/- Bl/Bl for females)

Mauve male x Splash female: 25% Blue males carrying chocolate, 25% Splash males carrying chocolate, 25% Mauve females, 25% Mauve Splash females (again, not sure if that's what that color is actually called)

Mauve x Chocolate: 50% Mauve, 50% Chocolate

Mauve male x Chocolate Cuckoo female: 25% Mauve males with one copy of barring (dark barred or single-factor barred), 25% Chocolate males with one copy of barring (also dark barred or single-factor barred), 25% Mauve females, 25% Chocolate females

Mauve male x Black female: 25% Blue males carrying chocolate, 25% Black males carrying chocolate, 25% Mauve females, 25% Chocolate females

I think that covers all the combinations you were talking about, but let me know if I missed something. 🙂
