Max temp egg can handle before it dies ?

Whatas the maximum temperture I egg can handle before the embryo dies ? Ive heard that they can go all the wya up to 105 deg with no ill effects.

it depends for how long.

an hour of 105 could kill one or two, but a whole day will kill many.

an hour of 110 is too much.

i had a temp spike of 110 early on and i do think it killed a few but i have 7 going in to lock down today. not sure if they will hatch but they all looked good last night. btw the temp was high for a few hours. not sure exactly. good luck with yours

Snazzy let me know how your hatch was.
I was asking about temp because my cabinet incubator varies from top to bottom right now its running 100 at bottom and 97 top so I need to turn it up a bit but dont want to cook anyone.

will do. my hubby put a fan in about a week ago and the temps have been much more stable since then so i'm hoping these hatch. good luck and let me know how yours goes
