Maximum number of eggs under a broody silkie?

    Can anyone tell me the maximum number of eggs that should be put under a broody silkie hen.

    My silkie hen had 5 silkie eggs under her and 2 barred rock eggs, and that was a little tight for her, i did notice while she was sitting it was hard to keep them all under her!!! but all 5 silkies hatched and 1 barred rock (the other wasn't fertile) so I would say 5-7 eggs
