Meet Maxwell, my 14 week old "sexed pullet".
Some back story-
Last year I was looking into breeding chickens. I kept jumping around from what breed I wanted to get into. But, what I came up with was, if God wants me to have a rooster, He can give me one.
Here I am now in June of 2021 with a 14 week old Columbian Wyandotte cockerel. A "sexed pullet" from a local store. Ah, God can do some amazing things. I love my boy.
I want to breed him when he gets older. I have two pullets of his breed as well. @NanaKat has helped me with evaluating my birds, as she breeds Columbian Wyandottes.
I may join 4H next year, which would give me something to work towards in breeding my birds.
Maxwell is getting manly looking. He's a nice boy.
