May 11 is Day 18 (kind of) when do I do "lockdown"?.....

I'm second guessing myself and could use some advice.
I set the eggs in the bator on Friday April 23 around 5:00 in the evening. The bator didn't get up to temperature until Saturday morning, April 24th. So, I'm counting April 24th as Day 1 which makes May 11 Day 18. Do I turn the eggs one last time the morning of the 11th and then raise the humidity and do "lockdown" then? Or do I wait until evening? I'm even wondering if I should've done lockdown on the 10th since it was *technically* day 18 at 5:00, ya know?
Part two of my question:
I am planning on raising the humidity to 65% for lockdown... do I need to decrease the temperature? It's been sitting right between 99-100 degrees for the entire incubation. Should I make sure it sits closer to 99 for days 18-21?
Thanks so much!

5 pm on the 24th was the end of day 1 and beginning of day 2 - count that way.

Bumping this in hopes of more responses. Today is Day 18 and I'm still not sure when to "lockdown"!

Maybe when you have time to do it, do it, I don't think to the exact hour is essential, just before you get too far into day 19.

I'll be doing mine halfway through day 18.

It doesn't have to be exact. Anytime around day 18-19 is when I lock down. Once they're in lock down, I don't open the bator again until it's time to remove chicks when the hatch is complete. Good luck!

Don't mess with the temp now! Do lockdown and then go somewhere else. Leave the bator alone, sit on your hands.

Happy hatching!

LOL! I just thought the temp was supposed to be lower for the hatch. I know I had to lower it when I hatched duck eggs years ago. I'm going to wait on lockdown until later today anyway so I can make sure the humidity gets to where it needs to be so I have time to adjust temp, to, if I need to

Okay. I have hatched chicken eggs only 4 times, but boy have I done a lot of reading on BYC. Nothing I've seen mentions lowering the temp for the hatch.

I am assuming these are chicken eggs?
