May Egg Swap Eggs are arriving!!!!

I just moved my guineas to the hatcher--10 of the 12 sent look like they're fully developed. I'm really exited to see what Monday and Tuesday bring!

Whether they hatch or not is another issue. I only said they looked fully developed.

I've got one zipping and a second one pipped! I can't wait. Now I'm going to be checking the 'bator obsessively for the next couple of days.

My one Turkey polt didnt make it...

The egg rocked and wiggled for two days so we thought it would surely hatch soon, then it just stopped moving. Never pipped nor peeped so we opened it a bit ago and it was dead.
It looked fully formed but had not absorbed the yolk.
None of the quail hatched either, they all went to a point and quit.

However the Polish (Elvis) and OEG(Priscilla) are doing great. The Polish is going to be....... BLUE with a white head! We are pretty sure its a roo its so bold and pushy and the OEG is Splash and we are hoping its a girl. They will live with my Splash and Blue Silkies eventually. For now thay are house birds.

I will have to post new pics of them however they are greasy since their room mate (an older silkie chick) was scalped to the skull bone by my hateful quail roo and is covered in triple antibiotic and they have decided the big chick is their mother and rub all over it.

Thanks all this has been fun! I will swap again in the Fall. I have already moved everyone back into the big shady pens so nothing (but the silkies) are pure anymore.

Did anything I sent out hatch?

Heather I have the 4 that hatched and they are soo full of life they have woke me up chripping cause they ate all their food

Little piggies they are

They have good appatites (sP?) They are going to graduate to a bigger box cause they jump around and hop so much.

I think they need the wing room

I will post pics of them after I get home.

I had new incubator problems and my hatch has been delayed. I hope that the ones that have survived this long will hatch. They are currently on day 22 (I think) but they were alive last night when I checked them.
