What the heck did the PO do with them? Kick them to their destination?!
The silkie made it, I had to help it out, I was up until 4am with the baby as his first few hours of life were rough. He finally settled and slept when I put him in my robe pocket. Today is his second day and he's still a bit wobbly but much better and super cute! He loves to sleep in my fuzzy robe pocket while I walk around doing chores and what not.
The frizzle didn't make it
Both eggs had half side air cell and both pipped on the filled side so had no air. I poked a hole for the silkie to breathe I then had to help a bit at a time all the way through, the frizzle I didn't catch the pip in time to help it.
So at least I have 1 beautiful and happy little baby bearded silkie the color of butter with all 5 toes in tact! This one's gonna be spoiled! I wish I could have saved the other so I wouldn't have a loner, but that's life and it's working out ok, she's a very mellow little one and doesn't cry much. I have her in a glass aquarium in my office so she sees me all day.
Thanks Kelly!
