I "think" I said those words last month.

How are Olive Eggers pure, I understand that a Easter Egger is mixed Color Ameraucanas but an Oliver Egger is something at lays a red egg and something that lay a egg egg right. Are the Oliver egger that are going to be given Eggs already Oliver or is the offspring to lay the Oliver egg. Also is there any way for the Easter Egger to be just mixed colors Ameraucana because I can not use one that is mixed with something else. Sorry for all the question Just want pure when I give Pure. Ok am done

IMO, if you count EE's, you should count olive eggers. EE's are technically any bird that lays a blue egg. Now, the blue gene is apparantly dominant or co-dominant, since you can breed a brown layer to a blue layer and get olive (mix between blue/green and brown). That means that you can breed the Amerucana to a silkie, then breed the offspring to another silkie, and then probably another generation to a silkie, and still have the blue egg. It would definately not be an "off color Amerucana", but it is still an EE. Not to mention that an olive egger could be more of an Amerucana/Arucana than an EE, because it could just be an Amerucana/Arucana bred to a brown egg layer.

EE's and OE's are almost in a class of their own. They're not quite as "low ranking" as a mixed breed.

I have a question. I know we can't pick a breed, but can we pick the species? Like if I say I want only gamebirds, turkeys, or geese, is that doable? I'd be perfectly happy with being left out if need-be, I'd just like to know before wasting your time
