My Silver Pencil Plymouth Rocks are due May 19.

Candled today and took 5 out, one is iffy that stayed for now. Saw 9 embryos moving around; really amazing.

The 5 I took out and broke to see what was inside, they all came out liquified. I assume that means they were scrambled in the mail??? No growth on any of those.

So, we came home from a visit with family to find 2 fuzzy butts in the bator!!

Now there are 3 and tons of pips!

So far 2 MF D'uccle, and 1 Buff Silkie.

Can't wait for more.

I got 14 shipped buff silkie eggs yesterday. No cracks or anything, hopefull I can get some to hatch.

Day 24 for the Pekins and we have a PIP.
Day 18 for the blue orps and nothing as of yet.

I have some silkie eggs in the bator that should be hatching monday. 2 out of the 7 shipped made it to lock down. This is my first time hatching eggs, and this lock down thing has my all kinds of nervous with not being able to candle and make sure that the two are still ok! All I can do is cross my fingers

and hope that they are ok.

Ugh, my niece opened the bator when I got distracted by the door. It was only open for a second, and the humidity is still around 75/80. I hope they are ok.
