May hatch-a-long

Pics
16+ Serama Bantam eggs. That's what I got last time, from a different seller, and they sent 18 eggs. I don't assume I'll get more than 16! My first hatch, I got 4 chicks from... hopefully I'll do better this time. I'm happy with whatever I get, though, as long as I get some! If I do, it'll be some genetic diversity.
One of my goals is to have a pair of Seramas are they more difficult to hatch the standard breeds?

I actually have no idea! These were the first eggs I've ever incubated, of any kind. I was very glad to get my four little hatchlings, and they're on day five, doing well, now. I might have hoped to get more... of the 18, 8 never developed anything, and the other six all failed at various points of development, probably due to my own mistakes. They were eggs shipped to me from the mail, and so are the eggs I'm waiting on now. Someday, I'd like to get some Black Sumatra Bantam eggs... just a matter of actually finding some! Apparently there aren't a lot of people breeding the Bantams, and the one I contacted doesn't sell eggs or chicks, nor mail adults.
