And now 3 chicks successfully hatched. 1 more has pipped, and another is working on zipping.

So far the list of hatched ones goes,

1 Ameraucana egg
1 OEGB bantam egg
1 Wyandotte egg

Below is the third to hatch

If the chick in the picture below is able to think I suspect it would be something like "didn't I just do this?"

That particular chick is in the newly vacated Wyandotte shell.

ok so tomorrow is day 18 and i am supper eggcited but im not going to move her im just going to leave her she is near a ladder and thats the only thing that made me worried is the ladder will they be able to get up and down a ladder with there mother

A second Wyandotte egg has hatched. I have one more OEGB bantam egg that has an external pip.

Came home from work today to 2 hatched chicks. I have an egg carton with eggs not due to hatch for another 2 weeks in the bator. It was propped up on a dish of water that I was using to increase the humidity. Somehow the chick got under the carton and drowned
4 external pips & 14 to go.

Out of the 13 that reached lockdown 4 have hatched and 4 more have external pips. A couple more seem to be rocking.

I don't know how much rest I will get tonight but I am going to try to get some sleep.

They may get down but they likely won't be able to get back up. Put a box or something in the ground with bedding she will take then there once they all come out of the nest

So i checked mean mamas eggs tonight (becuase of the eaten egg) one has an external pip one has an internal and the third is still waiting. Looks like we are getting an early hatch...

Oh and second broody one of the eggs has a lose air cell? I'm not sue what to do about it. Still to early to tell fertility. Eggs set in the 21stn no veins yet in any
