May hatch-a-long

Pics
I go for 60-70. That's when the viewing window starts to get condensation in the corners but isn't fogged up. How often have you adding water during incubation? Do you have a sponge in there or water the incubator wells?
I have a sponge and I just added more water because the windows were drying up and I have to keep it covered with a towel heat stays stable better that way. I went out to let the chicks out for a couple of hours when I came back in Humidity was down to 40 but temp was good.

I think the only problem with high humidity at lock down would be if you had the humidity too high during incubation and didn't get the evaporation (air cells growth) that was needed. Then the extra high humidity at lock down could be detrimental. Otherwise I don't see a problem with too high.
My air cells were a little small at lock down I marked them but the pips are below the mark I made closer to where they should be so I think I am ok.:fl

16+ Serama Bantam eggs. That's what I got last time, from a different seller, and they sent 18 eggs. I don't assume I'll get more than 16! My first hatch, I got 4 chicks from... hopefully I'll do better this time. I'm happy with whatever I get, though, as long as I get some! If I do, it'll be some genetic diversity.
I'm doing shipped eggs for the first time. Did you check out the article on Shipped eggs? It really helped me out.
