Sorry all their heads are down. I just moved then to the bigger pen to prep for the new hatch and they where checking out the chick grit. These guys are a little over 2 weeks now. So cute.

All lavender orpington cross breeds. One of the blacks if from a red, the white frim a cinnamon queen and the other 3 blacks and the lavender are all from varying color EE. I can't wait to see what the next hatch looks like. Its slim but I'm hoping for more lavender chicks.A nice variety!

Nice! My first attempt are 1 week old now. Their wing feathers are coming in nicely.I'm kind of jealous about that... none of the schools I was in ever incubated anything! Fourty+, and my first attempts at incubating are four weeks old today.
so im not sure if my hen is really broody she will be sitting on the nest and if i go touch her them she will get off and not get back on for acould mins i try not to mess with her but there was a ant on her back and i wanted to get it off for her she has three eggs under her and i dont know if she is keeping them warm enough what do i do and all so the bigger hens will nock her off the nest once or twice a day
