May have too many males(UPDATE: I got an egg!!!)

I just received four pigeons. They were supposed to be two pairs but after watching them for a while, they seem to be all males. How can i be sure? I don't know the age so i don't knnow if they would be mating by now or not

Many Things To Consider . First If You Just Got Them Are They In A Small Pen ? Might Be Trying To Establish Terrtory Are The Mated Or Just Two Male And Two Hens , Let Them Settle Down For Awhile And See What Happens The Size Of The Pen Could Be Something To Look At Are There Single Perchs For Each Bird What Breed Some Are More Aggressive Than Others

Yes it's a very small pen. i plan on moving them into a loft this week though. there's just one long perch. they are mixed breed squabbers.
Do the cocks sometimes fight the hens in a small pen?

A Small Pen And No Way For The Birds To Seperate Could Be The Problem Unmated Birds That Are Both Sexs Will Fight If Not Already Mated . After Putting Them In The Larger Area See If The Fighting Slows Down Wait A Week And See If They Start Acting More Like Pairs. Just Like Any Animal They Will Fight To Establish Pecking Order

You'll get a better idea when they have a larger space. Sometimes they can trick you! Do you have any pictures? They should pair up on their own, unless you want a specific pairing.

I went out to feed them today, and found an egg! I know it's from one of my pigeons I just don't know which one. I'm watching to see which one lays the other egg and I got my pair.
