May I rant?! I really need to vent!

For the past few weeks I've been trying to find some little chickies I have to find them a new home! I've had some problems advertising with CL this month - no one other than porn spammers will answer my ad. So I figured I would just give them away and changed my advertising to "FREE", I did this last night and what do I wake up to this morning? An email from a registered sex offender!!!

What am I doing wrong?! Why are my ads attracting this kind of attention?! I don't think it is necessarily me - I've noticed other advertisers on CL having problems selling their poultry too, they end up in the end posting a "free to good home" ad because no one wants to buy them. And yet, those very same people who don't want to buy from local people end up going down to the ag & hardware store and buy chicks there!

And turning fast it is! In a recent conversation I had with a friend of mine, 82 year old Korean War Vet, he expressed his anger & frustration of the influx of "stupidity" in people over the past few years. I told him I think it has something to do with the microwave towers associated with digital technology and that it's probably killing cells in the pre-frontal cortex of the brain LOL He laughed and laughed and said "you're probably right!"

LOL - and my boyfriend wonders why he can't reach me on my cell phone when I'm outside with my chickens! I never wear it when I'm around them.

BTW... speaking of chickenese, I moved a new coop into Pitiful & Skipper's pen this afternoon... I wish I would have had the video camera with me!!! Pitiful was soooo super excited over the new coop, as he stood on the door bawking his little heart out, I bent over and looked at him and he looked me right in the eye and I asked him "so you like your new coop?" He PurRrrred!! LOL
