May I rant?! I really need to vent!

What, the first sentence of his response was something like "You don't know me...I'm a registered sex offender...but I'd like to take your chickens?"
What did the man say to indicate that he is a sex offender? I've never heard of one doing anything but hiding his identity.

And turning fast it is! In a recent conversation I had with a friend of mine, 82 year old Korean War Vet, he expressed his anger & frustration of the influx of "stupidity" in people over the past few years. I told him I think it has something to do with the microwave towers associated with digital technology and that it's probably killing cells in the pre-frontal cortex of the brain LOL He laughed and laughed and said "you're probably right!"

I will be blunt. In the past the not-so-smart people would starve or get eaten. Now, no one starves, so the gene pool is not being cleaned out.

By the way, did you use the word "chicks" in your Craigslist ad? That may explain it.

The first words in his email were "I would like to get up with you" - it sounded too slang, I immediately felt that something was wrong and Googled his name & telephone # he provided in the email

LOL I don't remember if I did, I have before though and not had a problem - but my rabbit & other farm animals friends have had the same problem I did! I'm having a problem with folks not being able to read one site "Freecycle" I closed the ad and said in bold letters "GONE" - I'm still getting inquires LOL! Must be that gene pool problem!

Can you hang signs in your local farm store, livestock auction, or grocery store? All three of these places in my town allow people to hang signs advertising livestock.

Yeah there's a few stores I can do that at! Thanks for the tip! I've managed to network with a few people in the area who answered my ad after I became a little more "outspoken" about the spam mess - unfortunately it was too late by then and I found the chickens a home, BUT they are interested when I have more in the future!
