May Online Hatching Egg Swap-Eggs should be sent

Look what I hatched yesterday from my eggs.

Pearl Grey, Pied Pearl Grey, and WHITE Guineas!  I actually hatched a second white one that was still drying when I took this picture.

They are adorable! I can't wait to see what mine from you hatch out. Maybe I will luck out with a white one or two as well. I candled them last night and I have development in ALL but one! Whoo hoo :)

I have some of the little chipmunk looking ones hatching right now from another swap. I am so excited about the guineas. The husband, not so much

First pic I was like "What in the heck is that??" LOL I was kind of hoping it was something other than Silkie, just because. ha ha

BTW........I'm in on the June swap!!!! Did I mention I just love zookeeper?

a request......whoever gets my name please only tell me incubation time, I love surprises, and it will be fun to guess....and whoever i get will get lots of extras since I never shipped before I want to be sure you atleast get some arrive safely. Have gotten lots shipped to me, so I have seen how not to ship(hubby just rolls his eyes when the postman walks to the door, doesn't even ask anymore)

i'll appologize in advance, if anyone doesn't want to know. i mark all my eggs when i collect them most of the time with which pen they're from so i can keep it straight...
but i usually just use a 2-3 letter code for ease, so to anyone but me it might not be obvious. LOL

I'm another one who would rather not know what breed eggs I get until after they have hatched. So, whoever sends eggs to me don't spoil the surprise. I'll just wait until they hatch and find out then..

I do however have another question. I ended up having to buy a 2nd incubator for this swap because I already had 2 other people that were sending me eggs and w/ there eggs I will have a pretty close to full incubator. For the 2nd bator I opted not to get an egg turner. I have one egg turner already. So any eggs in the 2nd bator will have to be hand turned. I will be starting a new job sometime this week so when I do get the eggs I'm not going to be able to turn 3-4x/day will that be ok. At best I could turn them 2x (in morning before I leave for work and then at night when I get home). Will turning 2x/day be enough. One the weekends I could easily do it 3x/day. Any thoughts for those of you that do hand turn?

Thanks

I have to do the same thing or I would have no clue on some of the eggs. I usually have a letter and a number so I can track who the parents are.

Hey ! Just thought of something ..... For those that do not want to know what their eggs are we could just write " May" on them !!!
