MaryRuth has d'Uccles-are they cream-colored? My d'Uccles hatch on day 20-almost always.

Actually, I found out what the 4 little tiny surprise eggs were. THey are coturnix quail. They require same temp/humidity as chicken eggs. However they hatch in like 17-18 days. Thank god I have 2 incubators.

I got turkey eggs from Mark today, thanks! Great packing, they all made it. Thanks! Someone remind me, when is lockdown and when should they hatch? Deb

Im so glad they arrived ok. They r coturnix quail in several diferent color variations. So look for a very colorful mix of chicks. My hatch hates have been great. I sent u 18. Im told quial eggs ship well but sent alot of extras in case they had some rough handleing. Dont know if u had them b4 but incubation temps and methods r the same and they hatch at 17 to 18 days and pop out like popcorn once they begin hatching. They r also very tame even without much attention and make great pets and r bred for meat and eggs. They will b mature and begin laying at about 5 to 6 weeks in most cases. Rem to feed them game bird starter as they require much more protien then whats found in chick starter. Good luck with your hatch and I hope u like them.

Forgot to add dont forget to let them rest for 24 hours at room temp pointy end down for 24 hours b4 us set them so they can heal from the the shipping. That should give u a better hatch rate

i find that quail eggs don't care much about what's done to them. i didn't even rest mine, and a couple round ones i think went in upside down but hatched just fine anyways. got 18/20 hatched, and they went from out west to va...

here's my little blurb i give customers interested in eggs and/or birds to raise...
