Maybe a little too honest?

I just showed the ad to DH who thinks I'm crazy. He's probably right. We have already processed two cows this year. Thats a LOT of meat. But $800 for both?

We had 1 angus bull when I was younger. He was pretty tame during the day, but if you went in the pasture between dusk and dawn he would run you down. I wonder if that's their problem? I wouldn't take a loss on them either, I'd just resell them. There are a lot of people that could care less if a cow is 'mean'.

Saw a similar ad in our locals that stated "Hereford cows, horrible dispositions, whole herd, cheap."

Sounds like someone just doesn't like his Herefords!

good grief, take them to the processor and rent a frozen food locker.

Sounds like good cows to put out on the range. You need the mean un's to keep the cayotes away...

As far as I can remember from college in the livestock part, Angus' temperment are mean but not to the point they will kill you unless it is a bull.

In my experience, mean cows taste somewhat like nice cows.

Does it really matter how mean they are unless you are trying to interface with them on some personal level? They still butcher out at the same weight as a nice cow, so eat the darn things!
