Maybe a silly Leghorn question.....

Do all Leghorns lay equally? I want to get some more good layers and have decided they will probably be more RIRs, a couple Sexlinks, and a couple Leghorns. But I like the Danish browns better than the Whites. Does color matter as far as laying goes? I guess that goes for the Sexlinks too. From what I've read these are the girls to get, or are there other breeds that would do as well? (Right now everyone has really slowed down but my BR's and RIR's)

If I remember correctly, White Leghorns are the champions of egg production. Which is what you seem to want. BUT! They have the personalities of cacti. Mine doesn't like to be held or cuddled unless it on her terms.
