Mayhem - The Flock

Has anyone noticed chickens have a certain amount of mayhem they have to dole out each day? I’ve been cooping the girls until 530 each night to get them to use the coop for laying their eggs. I let them out, and their daily routine is condensed down to 2 hours. It’s like a movie played in fast forward.
