McMurray 4 week old Layer Assortment?

Thanks for the pics. Those birds look a little more hardy, which would be a huge plus for my 5 year old chicken farmer.

I think I'm going to get cranking on the coop this weekend and then order the older pullets when I'm done. Our weather is warming up and I'd love to get them outdoors ASAP.

Tonight is their first night to stay outside. I'm a bit nervous, it will be around 30 degrees overnight. But I have two warmers in the hen house so they should be ok. I have a baby monitor out there so I can listen to them overnight. They are quiet so I assume they are comfortable. I've put plastic around the wire part of their coop to keep drafts out and keep them dry - it is supposed to rain/snow later this week. Hoping they will be ok. I could not keep them indoors an longer... they should be approx 8 weeks old now

Do you have any pix of them??? At 8 weeks they should be pretty well feathered out.
When you were keeping them in the house I am assuming they were already able to be without additional heat? This hastens them to acclimate sooner by natural feather growth/need.

The only time we used additional heat with them was their first 24 hours after we got them. I can only imagine being in that box and in a truck for over 24 hours is a little stressful.

These pics were taken almost a week ago:
