McMurray Extra Easter Eggers

Hello! I have a large number of 3 week old chicks (that I ordered day-old). With the order, 5 Easter Eggers (Ameraucana with other blood) were paid for, and we received 8. Does somebody with experience with McMurray or commercial hatching have an estimate of what gender they could be? Would the 3 extras be extra cockerels they had? All of the Easter eggers we ordered were female, but the order itself included multiple males. All of the EEs look exactly the same except differences in coloration. I thin your just going to have to wait it out and see what the genders are. Lucky for you, you got extra chickies!! Post pictures once they start getting combs, and we can help ya out!

They usually send extra of what you order in case there are any fatalities. So, they'd probably be female like the ones you ordered.

I hope so! Lucky for me, none of the 34 chicks died in shipping and their first 3 weeks of life!
