McMurray Minorcas

Hi. I'm wondering if you have got Minorca's from Murray McMurray hatchery. And if so, when did they begin to lay? What color were the eggs? Thank you.

I used to have one Buff Minorca hen from them. She was kind of a loner and liked to fly over the fence to free range by herself. She was a sweet girl.

I think she was one of my early ones to lay so I'm guessing 5 months. The eggs were white.

Thanks! I'm wondering because I have a minorca I got this spring that had huge combs/wattles but I didn't find any eggs. She was one of my favorites and unfortunatley my dog killed her last weekend. So I've been looking out in the woods to see if she could have been laying. I found some little tan eggs but I don't know if they're hers. I just wanted to hear other peoples input.
