McMurray order

It has been a couple years since I ordered from McMurray, but i did receive my last order on a Sunday. I was outside opening the coups and putting out breakfast when I got the call.

I went down and picked them up within 30 minutes. They were thrilled someone was able to come get them immediately. They were really loud.

Our order arrived on Sunday evening to Johnson City's post office. We were expecting them at our little office in Jonesborough so when we arrived there to find no one arround, we went on a mad search to find our chickies. It wasn't the p.o. fault--my sister just didn't take the message right. The post office workers were very nice.

I haven't ordered anything from McMurray yet, but I do receive things on Sunday, occasionally... even holidays, if it's their mistake. I think the reason is as previously mentioned ...I live very close to one of the major airports.

Sunday morning 6:00 call from the Post Office! Have fun....

They gave us the date of Mon. the 9th 2 months in advance, and sure enough, on Mon. we got a call from the post office to come and get them.

Mine were supposed to come the week of June 2nd. They arrived on the 2nd which was Monday - didn't get the call from the post office until after 9 am and I was 45 minutes away at work, but hubby picked them up and they are great!

They are at the moment trying to fly around the brooder - too funny.

Well I just looked at my calender and July 7 lands on a Monday. I'll keep my fingers crossed because our Sundays sometimes run a little long at church. We are there for three hours but if something is going on after services we may be there for an extra half hour to hour so I was a little worried. I think I will call my PO when it gets closer to getting chickies and find out what they usually do when they come in. I hope they call right awway.
