We just lost one of our 5 chickens to who knows what. I lock them up at night but this little girl was taken during the day and my daughter is really, really distraught by this. We just got the 2 Americanas, 2 Golden Comets and one Black Astraulorp and we lost the Americana with the puffy cheeks. I don't know how to tell when they are little if they will have puffy cheeks, but my daughter wants to get another "Flitter". I am so sick about this and don't even want to let them out for fear they will disappear. Keep a close eye on your chickens!
