Hi, My name's Jan and I have had chickens for about 8 months, and just love them! I've got one rooster, whose name is Gorgeous George! plus 4 older hens, and 6 that have just started laying in the past couple of months. I read (I think in one of your newsletters) about suspending a cabbage/lettuce for them. I did this today and I'm attaching a video showing them having a great time with it! I live in North Queensland on 11/2 acres, also have 2 dogs, a lorikeet and a husband! I'm looking forward to being part of this forum, and thanks for all the info I've already got from the newsletters. Just tried to attach the video but it's too large. Sorry

Hi there! Try YouTube as a medium. Thanks for sharing! What I have learned from this site that it is impossible to think you have seen it all after reading all the different experiences from all the geographical locations and trials and tribulations from the so many contributions. Almost endless supply of 411!
I hope you enjoy this site at least half as much as I do, because my enjoyment is immeasurable!
