Hello chicken-a-holics, I am Eliza, and this is about my flock.
Lets start off with the 3 OGs that started this mess:
Phoenix: Buff Orpington
Holly: Buff Orpington
Piper: Barred Rock
So lets get into their origin story:
Me and my dad had to go get straw for our strawberries, we were supposed to get a small bag, we got an entire bale and chickens, It was kind of an impulse buy, but we had slightly researched them before so I knew what do.
Okay, Now here are my bantams:
Nightingale: Blue Wheaten Old English Game Bantam
Iris: Wheaten Old English Game Bantam
Plum: Partridge Wyandotte
Ivy(Died from cat this febuary): Wheaten Old English Game Bantam
Here is why we got the OEGBs:
I am 4-H and needed show birds so we got 'em from a breeder and now here we are.
Also: Plum was a random chicken we just got for free
Now here we are, with the last and final generation: The chicks, here we go:
Raven: Australorp
Maxine: Easter Egger
Fleur: Black Sex Link

We got them after Ivy's demise, I missed her a-lot and cried a bunch, and still do. They really helped me cope with my first hen death. (this was a one-time thing, I will not get 10 chickens when one hen dies, we needed more big layers anyways.)
