Ok, ok, I started wanting alpacas the summer before this past one, when I saw them at the fair. I signed a contract for three this august. I have been waiting years or months for this day, when they are probably coming HERE and I WILL OWN THREE ALPACAS and it will be the start of my alpaca farm!!!!!!!

We got to talking to an alpaca farmer at a church event, recently. He'd brought three of his "boys" with him. Alpacas make the cutest noise! I'd never heard them before. And they are soooo soft! I bought a pair of alpaca wool mittens a couple of years ago - they're awesome!
