Me, overreacting again

Recently, I was poop scooping in the coop where my youngest chickens are housed and was sure I spotted blood in one of the poops. Everyone looked good and acted fine, but I immediately began Corid treatment.

Yesterday, I was astounded when I found more "blood." Upon closer inspection, I realized that this "cocci outbreak" -- and likely the previous one -- was actually bits of not totally digested red grape skins. Perhaps I should switch to GREEN grapes as treats.

If you don't go to green grapes or suspect blood, always pour a little hydrogen peroxide on it. You know what happens!!!

If they are active, bright eyed and eating, and later on laying, I assume all is well. But I love the peroxide idea.

What will this do?
Doesn't peroxide fizz up on other things than blood?
It does when I spill it in the sink.

I always forget after my girls gorge on blackberries that their poop will look tarry... it's alarming for a moment before my brain kicks in gear and goes "Hey, you did this you know!"
