Hello i am Sierra Saunders. I am 18 years old. i just graduate from High school and going to TVCC in the fall for Ranch Management.
I live in Richland OR, on a cattle ranch with about 300 mother cows. in the summer they run in the forrest so in the summer we have no cows home. we also have 20 sheep, cats, dogs, and of corse chickens and ducks. I Have been doing chickens for about 3 years and i love my girls. the eggs i get are beautiful!. I also have some Roosters that i hear all day everyday and love. I got some of my chicks from a hatchery and some from a feed/ranch store. i will put some pics on here of them if i can find out how.

Hello and welcome to our flock,
It's great to see younger peeps take an interest in farming. Most kids wouldn't be doing what you are. Thank you! Feel free to ask questions and feel to answer them as well. I'm sure you'll be able to share some of that knowledge you have about animals.:)

Sounds like you have the life up there!! Nice to live on big spreads of land, isn't it? We have a huge track of isolation and love the peace and solitude.

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. We are all chicken crazy here. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. Looking forward to seeing your pics. What kind of chickens do you have?
