Meal Worms or Black Soldier Fly Larvae?

What's everyone feeding? What's your favorite or rather, what's your chickens favorite?

Is there really an advantage over one or the other? Nutritionally

Neither are needed, both are high protein but also high fat so any difference in nutrition will be negligible within the proper amount amount given.

Soldier Fly Larvae and sunflower seeds as treats. Little velociraptors really hoover them down

My understanding is that the fly larvae have more calcium than the meal worms.

I use both, meal worms are double the price tho

Any recommendations on where to buy them? Are all the brands about the same? Any better than others?

both are a really nice high protein, fatty treat great for winter time !
I generally get the Flock Party Meal worms and or BSF larva at my local tractor Supply

I get my BSFL at TSC. Four pound bag is around $35.00. You can get smaller bags(10oz.) but you’ll find that you’ll be paying double per ounce for the smaller amount. I believe the brand is Flock Fiesta.
